Jointline
How you can help us
  • Give us as much notice of the operation date as you can.
  • Upon receipt of the Jointline instruments and implants, we would ask that you check them against the list provided.
  • Please care for our instruments with care and consideration.
  • Ensure that after the instruments have been used, they are cleaned following Zimmer’s Recommendation for Care, Cleaning, Maintenance and Sterilization. The quick reference guide is included in the Jointline pack. A decontamination certificate should accompany the instruments back to our Reprocessing Centre.
  • We would appreciate it if you would let us know if any of the instruments are not working as they should.
  • If you have arranged with Jointline to keep the kits for more than one procedure, please contact us after each procedure to replenish implant stock.
  • Zimmer Ltd will contact the Hospital on the day after the scheduled operation to confirm collection of the instruments and products. It is the Hospital’s responsibility to ensure that the instruments and products are available when the Zimmer Ltd’s carrier arrives to collect.
